Touching Hearts Changing Lives At Christ The King Church our motto is Touching Hearts Changing Lives, not only to our community but to the world as well. We have sent and helped send messengers of the gospel to Mexico, China, Nicaragua, India, Holland, Ireland, Guatemala, Honduras and Tibet. We currently help support Matthew Hoogendoorn a missionary to college students. Pastor Matthew is a campus minister at the University of Houston in Houston, Texas. We are currently supporting Pastor Param in Tenali, A.P. India and surrounding districts. With your help we would like to support the 620 pastors working with us through Zion Faith Ministries. We have helped build an orphanage in Nicaragua and we have our own orphanage with 63 children in Tenali, A.P. India. We have helped with the rebuilding of New Orleans through City Cathedral Church Pastors Dr. Owen Jr. and Tammy McManus. We have drilled water wells in seven villages in A.P. India. We are ministering to other areas of Asia that we are not able to comment on. Come get involved in what God is doing here at Christ The King Church. Tenali. South India
We sent funds for two water wells in villages that needed water. The first water well was drilled in a village where the upper caste would fight the untouchable people to keep them from getting water from the water tank or lake. The people here were struggling to get water for their families. They were often sick from polluted water.
The second well was dug in a village were the water pump was really old and the water was not good and it had sand in it. The people here would try to strain the sand out but, the water quality was poor and they were sick often from the water.
A big heart felt Thank You was sent from the villages. The first village did not have a church and did not know about Jesus. After Rev. Param shared Jesus with them they accepted him as their one and only God and said they would remover their idols. A church has now been started and will meet in someone's hut on Sundays. Pastor Param Jyothi of Zion Faith Ministries Tenali, South India and Christ The King Church have teamed up to reach that part of the 10/40 window for Jesus. Zion Faith Ministries is reaching out in evangelistic crusades, pastor training, street evangelism, street orphan ministry and ministries to the poor. Zion Faith Ministries has over 620 pastors under their ministry; each pastor is trained and sent out among the people. Not all pastors have financial support they just go in the name of Jesus, so that is where you can get involved. We cannot reach the people of India because of the laws in that country but, we can help train and support the men and women of God there.
